How do I become a member? You petition for membership by emailing silkands@silkandskin.org. You can contact us on SLS or Fetlife as well. Once you pass muster you will receive our invitations by email or by SMS via WhatsApp.

Couples and single ladies are always welcome. However, if you do not have an acceptable profile on one of the major swingers' websites, the Mistress may ask to speak to the lady briefly on the phone before offering membership.

A single man we don't know WILL NOT be able to join without a paid, seasoned profile on a major swingers' website. He will also be asked for a reference from another party host or a woman or couple active in the Lifestyle. And for explicit photos. If your profile is too new or too sketchy to satisfy, you will be turned down.

Married or attached men cannot attend alone unless his partner tells us personally (as in face-to-face) that it is OK with her. Truly single men will always get priority. We know relationships come in many flavors but we also know the difference between ENM and a cheating asshole.

Why so restrictive?

I screen out cheaters because some swingers don't want to associate with them for ethical reasons. If a man does not respect his wife or girlfriend, how can we expect him to respect our guests? Some single women also like knowing there will be "available" guys at the party. Males are plentiful, so there are reasons to screen married men out and no compelling reasons not to. Unaccompanied women, however, are not plentiful, and males at the party don't care if the women are married, so we have an unabashed double standard. No, it's not "fair," and no, I don't care.
